Ali di tela non è una semplice storia dell’aviazione italiana e
delle sue origini che va ad aggiungersi alle numerose opere del genere
già pubblicate. È piuttosto un’indagine sui miti che alla
nascita dell’aviazione sono legati ed al modo in cui tali miti si sono
alimentati nel corso del conflitto. Baracca e D’Annunzio dunque, ma non
solo! Accanto ai due personaggi che hanno polarizzato l’attenzione sull’aviazione
italiana in guerra si snodano i personaggi, i mezzi e le vicende che hanno
segnato la storia della più giovane delle armi delle nostre forze
armate.

Susy Dan Lombardi, veneta, è nata nel 1951 e si è laureata in lingue all’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia. Successivamente ha abbinato al lavoro di imprenditrice una grande passione per tutto quanto concerneva il volo. Conseguito il brevetto di paracadutista civile ha compiuto numerosi lanci, interessandosi sempre più a tutto quanto riguardava l’aviazione, i suoi esordi, la sua storia ed i suoi miti. Ha ripreso quindi gli studi laurenadosi sempre all’Università di Venezia in storia contemporanea sotto la guida del Prof. Mario Isnenghi. Ali di tela è il risultato di questi anni di ricerca.

Burlap wings are not a simple history of Italian aviation and its origins that goes to join to the numerous works of the sort already published. A surveying is rather on the myths that to the birth of aviation are legacies and to the way in which such myths they are it feeds to you in the course of the conflict. Susy Dan Lombardic, veneta, is been born in 1951 and it has graduated itself in languages to the University Ca' Foscari of Venice. Subsequently he has bound together to the imprenditrice job a great passion for all how much concerned the flight. Achieved the licence of civil parachutist he has completed numerous launch, being interested more and more to all how much he regarded aviation, its debuts, its history and its myths. He has resumed therefore the laurenadosi studies always to the University of Venice in contemporary history under the guide of the Prof. Mario Isnenghi. Burlap wings are the result of these years of search.
